WATERCOLOR GEOMETRY

Hi All!

It's been awhile since I have played in the monthly challenge over at Seven Hill Crafts Blog.

This month it's all about Geometry.

I used dies to die cut some hexagons, that I could use for my pattern. I used watercolors to paint the hexagons, and used the wet and wet technique.
I die cut the happy die a few times and stacked them up with glue. I stamped the rest of my sentiment with versafine, and cut them out, and added 3D foam for some dimension. I added some clear droplets for a finishing touch, and foam mounted the panel on a kraft cardstock.

LITTLE TANGLES #71 SHAKER/SEQUINS

Hello Crafty Friends.

I wanted to play along in the Little Tangles Challenge this month. It's all about shakers or sequins.

I love making shaker cards, so I made a little one for this challenge.

I used the Sunburst stamp for my little "scene". I stamped it in yellow and orange ink, and die cut a circle for my "sun". I also die cut a frame, and added some sequin mix. I took pattern paper for my background, and stamped the sentiment "Let's celebrate, it's your birthday".
I also added a little twine for the finishing touch.

Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up Challenge with Winnie & Walter

Happy Sunday!

I'm just popping in to share a card that I made for

This time Essentials by Ellen is mixing things up with Winnie & Walter

I made a very simple card, but I love how it turned out.

I used the beautiful stamp set In Bloom: Anna's Florals from Winnie & Walter for the background. I arranged the flowers and leaves on my card panel, and stamped them with Momento.
I die cut the Be-You-Tiful die from Essentials by Ellen, from my panel, and 5 times out of black cardstock, that I glued all together. I used Copics to color only the sentiment, to make it stand out. And for the finishing touch, I added a few enamel dots.

Sweet Stampin' - Favorite Stamps

Happy Saturday friends.

It's Saturday, and that means it's time for a new Challenges for Team Abi, onSweet Stampin Challenge Blog and this week, the theme is
Use Your Favorite Stamp.

And to my project for this week.

I know a little girl who has it's very first birthday on Sunday, so I wanted to make a picture for her.
I love cute critters and animals, so I can say that they are one of my favorite stamps.
I ink blended the background with Distress Inks, and colored the images with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. And to make it more personal, I heat embossed her name on the balloon.

Here is a close up...

I hope you will play along this week, and remember, there must be stamping on your project to be in the prize drawing. Crafts and Me is our fabulous sponsors this week, and she is giving away a prize to one lucky winner.

You should visit the Sweeties and see there amazing project, and get inspired.

I also want to enter this project to
